Hello, I'm Chi and this is my replacement account for the one which was experiencing gliches. I've been a member of Rosewicket since April 2009. I'm here to learn and here to teach - if you have questions I encourage them wholeheartedly and I'm here to help, and if you have knowledge to offer then please, do!

 I am currently going into my senior year of highschool, hoping to graduate and make it into a private art college so I can paint all day and eat nothign but top ramen for the rest of my life in return. I'm seventeen and I turn 18 in mid February 2011 (And yes, I am an Aquarious, though a tad on the cusp with Picese).

I'm spazzy, nerdy, silly, odd and all sorts of things in that genre. I enjoy the few video games I know how to play, I love comics (mainly Japanese graphic novels called Manga), anime, Chemistry, World History, reading, writing, drawing, painting, and the like...

My art mediums are mainly charcoal, graphite, and acrylic paint., though lately I have been using a lot of watercolour. I used to do a lot of spray paint but it is a terrible risk to ones health and not eco-friendly, I try to be careful with what I use and how it impacts the earth, I'm a big recycler, too.

I love music (duh) of many kinds. Typically I love techno-dance, pop punk, or aleternative rock, and a bit of really angsty screamy stuff.. However, for more relaxing or spiritual purposes I like all sorts of world/cultural musics, the main ones being Native American Drumming or wind instruments, Japanese Drumming or Koto music, and some types of Indian music.

I've been unsure in most of my life whether I'm bisexual or lesbian. Seeing as recently (past year and a half) I've considered myself entirely gay, I'm very active in the local LGBT community.

My best 'magic(k)al' practices, the ones I love them most and have the best skills in, are Divination and Healing. I use many forms of divination, including Tarot, I-Ching, and pendulums to name a few, though I find tea leaves and Tarot to be my favorites. For healing, I like both alternative medicines (accupunture, herbalism) and spiritual healing, like chakra/aura work and Reiki.

Spiritually I consider myself Pagan but not Wiccan. I don't follow the Wiccan path to the letter, but it is a beautiful faith that has taught me a lot of valuble lessons-and I intend to follow parts of it for the rest of my life.  I consider myself Green-Path Pagan, because I'm am something close to a Hedge Witch and I'm very intuned with the earth and environment. I'm also a soft polytheist, meaning I think all Gods have some validity to them as Archetypes of the human mind, personifications of nature, facets of a limitless whole, and interpretations of the universe; thus each one deserves respect, as do all faiths. I am also quite fond of Buddhism, Shinto, Daoism/Toaism, various recontrustion Pagan faiths (Norse, celtic, roman, ect), Shamanism, and even some sects of Christianity.

I have studied Wicca for a moderatly long time (5 years, though I suppose that's not much in the grand scheme of things), but I know it is not for everyone and each person has beliefs as unique as they are, no matter what they call themselves. It's an important journey we all need to take and I am open to helping anyone who needs it even if their path differs from mine.
