About Me

I am not a Wicca, but I decided to accept the offer to join because I thought it would a great opportunity to learn more about how the Wicca "mind" works. Even though I was raised and spent most of my life attending an organized religion, I have experienced things that go beyond the experiences of the ordinary, run-of-the-mill Christian.  Many Christians are afraid to embrace the gifts of the Holy Spirit for fear of getting interference from satan. I believe if you call on the power of the Almighty God, our Creator, He would not allow satan to butt his way in.

Because the Wicca say they are for doing good and do not believe in harming any one, I feel this could be a mutually beneficial acquaintance. I look forward to getting to know other members.

AND IT HAS BEEN: With this site as a jumping off point I have delved deeper in an attempt to understand the Wicca community as well as to connect more deeply with God--and have succeeded. If it weren't for some basic differences in spiritual beliefs I would probably be able to say now (Jan. 2010) that I am Wiccan, but not quite.

Message Body

oh long you got ,right i keep it as short as possible the 4 regular "cannonist" gospels have the "spirit message"of jesus but they have been airbrushed edited so they message "seek the divine from within and from outside yourself" this messgae let people think for themselfs and took control for the church
from what i feel when reading your profile you done the whole "jesus thing" but its not quite done it for you but you still want a element of jesus in your personal "spirit gang" well think of it this way if you like cola and coke is not doing it for you try pepsi.
read it may think its ok but boring but it might give you that x factor you are missing

I just wondered how you were finding it and whether you have decided that the Wicca is the way? :)

I'm so EXCITED! I signed up on this site to learn more about the Wicca religion even though I didn't believe it was for me. I have plugged into the power of God a lot over the past 6 or 7 years and felt the power wash over AND through me, so I didn't get the idea of needing to rhyme when making a "request" (my kids and I prefer that terminology to "spells"). However, on the 5th of Nov. I cleansed my grandfather's house while taking care of him, ligting a Jasmine incense stick, then I lit a Sandalwood and cash another "request", repeating it until I felt the power strong through me. My grandfather's memory had been nearly erased in June, he no longer called me by my name, and normal prayers were ineffective. My daughter programmed a citrine endowed quartz crystal, but alone, it too was ineffective even though I had cleansed the house. However, when I added an a rhyming "request" my grandfather's memory was back the next morning. It was as though he had emerged from a fog and was thrilled to see me again. My sister and mom has noticed the dramatic return of his memory over the past week and a half, and today, at his 91st Birthday Party, he thanked me by name for the gift my husband and I gave him. I'm THRILLED!!!

Your very correct there, at the time the bible was "Put together" by some Roman guy (Forgot his name) a lot of stuff was editted in and out, there were such accounts from Mary Magdilin(sp?) that didn't make it through, and I believe Jesus' brother, James also wrote accouns that never got into the bible, but this I am uncertain of.

I used our Strong's Bible Concordance to look up the meaning of "witch" and "witchcraft" according to "Christians"--now I understand why Wicca use that terminology. Though it makes me ever more convinced there is a lot in the Bible that doesn't belong, AND a lot missing. "Christians" have definitely misused and misinterpeted what is in the Bible for centuries.

Have learned quite a bit more than I knew when my daughter first told me she wanted to attend a Wicca meeting. Since she wasn't living at home at the time I appreciated the fact that she was brave enough to mention it even though she received the cautious warning she expected.

Due to the negative connotations and wide definitions of witch, I don't understand why a Wicca would refer to themselves as a witch. Healer, cosmic protector or the likes makes more sense to me, but to each his/her own. As long as those who claim to be Wicca stick to the requirement to "do no harm to anyone" then we will get along fine. For those who fear telling parents or friends or have done so already and received negative reactions, I say, practice the Wicca code and let your light shine. I believe it would be more beneficial to get grounded in your beliefs before revealing your Wicca roots because you will have a firmer stand. You may even change your mind about going that path and look for another--why borrow trouble before you have decided for yourself that is what you want. Also, if you practice doing good and keep your tongue in check, ever vigilant about not saying anything negative to another classmate or family member, staying out of trouble, then sooner or later they will see your temperament become mellow and the more you are accepting of others faults as you recognize and take responsibility for your own, they will want to know what changed you for the better. Can you imagine their shock and dismay when you tell them it is your work as a Wicca?
