-- Spike:"You listen to me. I've been alive a bit longer than you, and dead a lot longer than that. I've seen things you couldn't imagine, and done things I'd prefer you didn't. I don't exactly have a reputation for being a thinker; I follow my blood, which doesn't always rush in the direction of my brain. So I've made a lot of mistakes. A lot of wrong bloody calls. A hundred plus years, only one thing I've ever been sure of. You. Look at me. I'm not asking you for anything. When I tell you that I love you, it's not because I want you, or 'cause I can't have you, it has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try... I've seen your strength, and your kindness, I've seen the best and the worst of you and I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You are a hell of a woman. You're the one, Buffy." Buffy: "I don't... I don't want to be the one." Spike: " I don't want to be this good-looking and athletic. We all have crosses to bear."

Hey Kaylee, I hate to break it to you but not many people will just take a newbie under their wing when they are 13 years old... Besides Wicca is all about finding your own path, making your own choices, and being the best person you can be while trying to stick to the Rede(As best as possible anyways). Its ok to ask for guidance once in a while or ask questions that your not sure about but I would strongly suggest that you hold off on that "Trainer" your so eager to have. I know that sometimes it is difficult to be involved in Wicca in the fact that there really is no direction to it at all... thats one of the beautiful and frustrating things about this religion. For the most part I think that alot of people who have come to Wicca from other religions are used to structure and a teacher... Someone to tell you what to do and when to do it and how and why, for a lot of us, thats the reason that we started to look elsewhere for spiritual fulfillment but its hard to just dive right in to something else, especially something else that doesnt have a guideline to follow. I would suggest reading up all you can, RESEARCH! Go to the local library, find friends who may be of like mind to possibly take this journey with, though in all reality this is a journey that is about you and you alone. Search some websites and learn all you can. A bit of a caution however: If you go to a website and someone tells you that they will teach you all they know for a small fee or something rather than DO NOT go to them. Also, since you are only 13, you have to keep in mind that you are still a minor and anyone who teaches you is going against your parents wishes; that is unless you have told them that you are practicing Wicca now and that you would like a teacher... which I doubt, I mean no offense but why else would you need a teacher then? I know that there are alot of people on here that would be more than happy to answer any questions or concerns that you may have, me included, but for Wicca there really isnt a kind of teacher.... this is something that you have to do for yourself and something that takes alot of dedication. Wicca is a lifestyle, not a pastime. So study study study, there is always more to learn. The goddess is never done teaching us her wisdom. I hope that I have helped you some and if not I apologize.... Blessed be on your journey! Timmy | |
