The lights waft past the window
Below the sky a sea of stars
Beautifully laid on scratched glass
Perfectly set


Then he appeared though the screen
At first losing himself in the sky
Sinking into the bright reflection
Blinding dust


Bursting through memory with a forever smile
Taking the lights from his windows
She gently lights each one
Within wine glasses


Smiling into the forever of eachother
the night turned light


Instantly
Everything had turned down
To a perfect volume
And heavenly pitch

Suddenly
Something he had never known
Began to drown him
Scathed him as a fire


This bliss tangled in her hair

Was now forever
