Rosewicket Wicca Coven

I feel the responsibility to point out to alot of people that simply asking for a coven is alot to do. Many solitary practicers do things the eclectic way, when trying to combine this with the concept of a "Coven" ideas can clash. Be sure that when looking for a coven there style of Wicca is the same as your own, otherwise you will likely be in a world of trouble.

I myself am in a coven, and i must say it is alot of work. I'm not saying it isnt worth it, but  it takes alot of free time. I recommend joining one after you graduate high school. I am a senior this year and am only in one because my papoui (grandfather) is, or was, the leader of it. My papoui has now passed on and we are in major turmoil. In a coven people are very dependent on eachother, and you have to be  open to disscussing personal matters with people in the coven. Not to mention all the "COVENS" that are just scamms to get money, and abuse to some people. Make sure the people you join a coven with, or even start one with are people you can ENTIRELY TRUST.

Another thing is when most newer Wiccans say they want to be a "coven member" what they really mean is they want to have a wiccan study group, in which they can do simple rituals together, and celebrate the sabaats. THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS A COVEN. A coven is much more hard core and takes alot more dedictaion.
