Rosewicket Wicca Coven

Hello everyone. I'm new here and i'm also a new Wiccan. As my knowledge is somewhat still lacking, I'm not sure how to go about blessing a ring i've gotten for my girlfriend for her birthday. I want to endow the ring with my own love and protection, as well as the Goddess's and God's own love and protection. If anyone could help me do this I would be much obliged.
