Giant snails?  That's... interesting... but awesome!  I have two dogs, a horribly overweight boxer-black labrador mix named Snooter and a beagle-blue heeler mix named Spooky.  We've had Snooter since he was a puppy, and my dad found Spooky out in the parking lot of the pre-fab steel plant that he works at and brought him home.  They're a very interesting pair...

I have had many pets in my life time. I had a cat when I was little named Diana Rose who ran away. The first cat I ever had that I ever really thought of as MY cat though was Bagaura.
He was almost named Mogly, but nah. He was a black kitty with beautiful blue eyes. Even after he was a kitten he kept his blue eyes which I knew he would. My mother warned that they would turn green, but they never did. He was a very special kitty, and I loved him, but he had to go because he was doing his buisness all over the house. This was odd. He was litter trained for a long time....he just gave up. Currently I have a kitty named Yuki, he lives with my grandmother though because my step-mom is allergic.

Speaking of cats, my grandma has a cat that's scared of plastic bags...  Kinda funny when you open one.  Suddenly, you can't find the cat...

I was wondering if anyone knew any spells or something to heal. because my 10 week old kitten is really really sick and might not make it. If anyone might know some info about a healing spell i would be very grateful.

Cassandra, if you're just looking for general healing spells there are many of them across the net. Pet healing spells migh be more difficult to find but I suggest you take a 'human' healing spell and adapt it to your needs.

If you want some healing spells to get started or need help writing your own, I'm glad to help. I have literally dozens of healing spells and prayers, I am more then happy to give them to you and let you change them as you choose.

It is also very important taht you keep up with all other physical treatment as well. Healing spells don't really cure diseas, they usually ease symptoms and maybe rid toxins or bad energy from the body. Make sure your kitten has good medicine as well.

First off all of our animals have more than one name. They have their real name and several nick names.

We have 2-female dogs. Daisy - she is a Black Lab/Terrier mix that we have had for 12-years - I think she is my familiar. A friend found her under her car crying in the middle of the night when she was a puppy. I had put the word out that I was thinking about getting a dog for my son who was 3yrs old at the time. I really didn't want to get any pets with work and single parent responsibilities going on but I figured a boy needs his dog. I stopped looking and said, this dog will come to us somehow. Well she did - what I didn't expect was that I was going to fall in love with her too. Daisy's other names are: Day-Day, Ma-Ma (cuz she is the mother of all the other animals) and Danu. I called her Ma-Ma for years and about 4-years ago I started calling her Danu. As I am learning about goddesses and gods I came across "Danu" = Mother Goddess. I could not believe it. Out of the blue off the top of my head years ago, I started calling Daisy this.

My other dog Lani is a 3yr old Boston Terrier. I was thinking about getting a 2nd dog - smaller. I told my better half in December 08 and he agreed. I ran through the papers and craigs list but just didn't have a feeling one way or another. I put it out there to the universe "again" that if it is ment to be then she will come to me. The universe answered with Lani in Feb 09. My son's father had a friend that was moving and could not keep her. Lani and I bonded instantly. When he brought her to introduce her to Daisy to be sure they got along, they rolled around and played. Weird cuz Daisy does not like other female dogs but it worked out well. We decided that she would stay with us from that moment on. As her previous "care giver" was leaving out the door, Lani didn't bat an eye. She didn't even try to leave with him or anything - she knew she was home. Because we could not re-name Lani and didn't want to at 3yrs old - we call her Lamb-chop sometimes and say if she had a voice, it would sound like Lamb-Chop.

Finally we have a 2-yr old Maine-Coon cat. "Itty Bitty Kitty". We got him as a kitten and he is sweet and gentle. We could not come up with a name and one day while cooking he was sitting on the kitchen floor watching me. I was talking to him and said, "oh, look at my Itty Bitty Kitty being a good boy". And the name just stuck. However, we have been calling him "Mr. Big lately. He is about 20 lbs. Not overweight. He is fit, buff and furry. People laugh when we call him Itty Bitty. When he was 9mo old he got outside and was bit by a racoon and almost died. He made it.

We had other cats through the years that either passed away or left home never to return. I know the two that did not return, something happened to them - they are not on this earth any longer. We miss our "Miss Kitty" and our black cat "Jinx". Each time they did not return, for about 2-weeks straight, daisy and/or the other cat would be playing with something that was not there...or at least we could not see it. I knew it was the cats coming home in their own way for the last time.

Sorry so long, but we LOVE our babies and are so connected.

Wow - just looked at the post - I wrote a book! Sorry.

My cat passed away too. I don't think I want anew one. She was my familiar. Sometimes you can feel her presense. It's cool but kinda.....i don't know.......creepy.

Blessed be,

Angel

I thought Id bring one of the old forums back up to date...

Here are my dogs:

This is my dog, Bear.. aka. Bear Bear. He is a black lab mixed with a chow. Hes about a year now.. he is the youngest of my 3 dogs and the calmest. He LOVES to play catch with a ball and is always wagging his tail. Hes adorable!

This is Storm.. aka. Stormy or the Stormester! She is Bears mother.. (we dont quite know who the father is...). Shes uhh... a year and a half, I believe. She is a pure breed black lab. She is calm, cute, loving and loves to cuddle. She survived Larpo and her spirits are high. She has a great energy and ALWAYS loves to bring smiles to my face. :)

This is mainly my grandmothers dog, Lady.(I dont have a nickname for her). She is about 7 years old. Shes a miniture pincher and is very agressive. She does have an attitude at times but shes still lovable.. just watch out because she can (and does) snap.

And thats all my dogs..

We have one cat, he is my shadow, an extension of me..when he was small he was just crazy, when we adopted him he already had been named Eddie...so we decided to Call him Eddie VanHalen, as he was an instant star with the Ladies in the neighbourhood....even after his little trip to the vet.....ooops, he has since forgave me that indiscretion and is now a very wise 3 years old, I just have to think about him and he appears sliding around my legs, or if I'm reading or writing he sits on my book or papers and demands my attention!
