Hey I was wondering the people that know who their familiars are how did you know that animal was your familiar did you see it on a walk or did you have strong feelings about that species or did you see it in a dream and are they real or do you see them in your dreams.

Also whats path working? I dont know what is?

I don't have a familiar in the physical world. I have a spirit guide (well, a few) and I met them through journeying, after much practice.

Path working is a sort of trance state where you may speak to a God, Goddess, Element, or Totem, or mythical creature and ask it to take you on a journey of learning. Most often it is a type of meditation, usually guided, where you seek to grow as a person.

How exactly do you do pathworking? I have gone onto sites to see how others do it and i cant find a good way to do it.

Also is there a special way to meditate or is it really simple?

Pathworking can be done in different ways. It can usually be done as a guided meditation, but I use a spirit journeying variant. There is plenty of reliable information on the web about pathworking.

i have checked the internet and all i see is opinions on path working and i see tarot path working and magical pathworking and its all so confusing cause i dont exactly know what im looking for. its really stressful

yes it is but it's worth it once you find the right way. really there is no special way to meditate and just close your eyes clear your mind and breathe. just let your body go and let your spirit guide you.

yeah its kind of a technique and i have tried it and i thought it might have worked but then i remembered that someones mind can be manipulated

well i believe my familar in the physical was my baby rocky (a basset hound) my parents gave her away but im waiting on my next familiar and i have good idea what it is just waiting for a time when i can get her

Question has any one of you had more than one familiar and is it possible?

A familiar can be see as a mediary between you and the spirit world.  While we haven't commonly heard of people having more than one at a time, it's possible of course to have more than one in a lifetime.

i see, do any of yall have a garden and if you do how do you keep your garden alive i suck badly at gardening but i can still grow some decent plants.

Well you have to learn about the plants you want to grow, when it's best to plant them, what grows well in your area, the difference between perennial and annuals, if you want an herb garden or vegetable garden, what kind of trees you want, if you want it to be set up in a particular pattern, which plants complement each other and which ones will kill each other, plants and bugs that have symbiotic relationships, what kind of fertilizer you want to use, how often you need to water, whether you can have an open garden or need a greenhouse, how big of a space you have...the list is seriously endless.
