I ask this question because I believe it and I want your opinion. Whether it be on your heart or skin where no one can see.

Could you elaborate a little bit? By mark, od you mean physically or emotionally? By 'us" do you mean Pagans, Wiccans, or human kind?

Faeris... I think you mean that the Lord and Lady call us to the path? Is that what you mean?

what i mean is in any or everyway did they mark us? and i mean wiccans. like ddi they give us an invisible mark that no one else can see but that we can feel it there?

Do you mean like a certain energy signature...?

well anything really a werid symbol on your skin or just something i know it's vague but still........lol

I don't really think we're "marked". I mean, there have been some great experiences I have had on this path, they have changed me for the better and I wouldn't trade them for the world. But did the God and Goddess (or divinity in any form) really mark me as somehow enlightened, different, or gifted? No, I don't think they pick favorites.

I do think that, in my my heart I do bear the mark of someone who has a close and happy relationship with the divine, but I don't think it's the same as being marked by divinity as their own. I think that I have this with my view of divinity, a Christian might have it with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, A Muslim might have with Allah, or what have you - as long as they are in the right relationship with divinity as determined by their lifestyle and beliefs. I think that "mark" is just a sign of a good relationship.  I don't think I'm special or superior to other humans in terms of how the God and Goddess think of me. They care for me, just like they do for others.

As I said on another forum, my journey is special but not exclusive.

Just thoughts. Perhaps the feeling that I have about being in a good relationship with the divine is what someone else woudl call 'being marked as their own'. maybe said 'mark' is just that feeling you have when you feel at home with the divine. It's just my interpretation of a feeling.

well i didn't mean favorites just marking everyone in their own unique way  not just certain people

I realize you didn't mean it offensively, and this is just my point of view. To be "marked as someones' own" sound to me like markign someone as part of a group, a status symbol, something you fit into that others don't. And that's just not how I think divinity looks at people. Granted, that interpretation works really well for some, just not for me.

lol yeah i didn't mean it like that  just meant everyone and that everyone may have a similar mark but it's unigue because they are.
