i feel  i need a wiccan name but i dont know were to start it seems i think and nothing seems to feel right there must be something out there that will suit me.

i would realy apreciate anyones wisdom and help in this

any tips on how to discover a name, or anything

There are so many schools of thought on the Wiccan name, but my belief is it will just come to youfrom within. Perhaps you already know it.

I also used numerology with regard to the spelling of mine!!!

Well, wiccan names are a topic of much discussion. Some witches think a name must be earned, somne think they are for use in the circle only, ect, ect. Do what feels right for you. I have heard names inspired by plants, gods, crystals, languages, dreams, pathworkings, tarot cards, or what have you.

Each person finds a name in a different way. I have a name I use online for my privacy. I have a name I use when at events with other witches, and I have a name that was given to me and is for the circle only.

That said, anything that feels right to you is worth trying. You can always try a potential name in ritual and if it doesn't work you can let it go. Names also may change for you as you grow as a person. Here are some ideas:

-make lists of all things, words, and ideas that have meaning to you

-look up names and words in languages you like

-think about all the paths that inspire you

-Think about names relating to nature, plants, crystals, seasons, or the craft

-Meditate on it

-Ask to recieve a dream on it

-Do a pathworking on it

-Talk to totems or spirit guides

-Use numberology or astrology to find what things correspond to your name

thank you i will certainly do as you have sugested i think i know my name but its adapting it or adding to it that im now going to do to see if it suits. i belive i woke up this morning and told my mother she said you use that alot already. i laughed as i didnt realsie how close it already was. now for ajustment and il be happy .

I would like to let you all know iv finaly found my name its been with me since i found out how to be free,  i also found my totem or spirit guides seems i have been lucky with my searching.
