Well, to my experience, people hide apartment pets a lot. I suspect your neighbor is hiding a pet cat from the building owner/landlord. If not, it would hav been a TV/radio, ect. I realize that sounds unlikely, but more than once I have heard people in next door apartments turn the TV on with a HUGE volume, before adjusting it so that it doesn't bother neighbors.

Have you considered what lies beyond your cloest? It is part of another's apartment, and do you have any idea to what room it could be? That may yield more answers than you suspect. 

No. The other apartment is above me but i see your point, Chi. It scared the crap out of me but who knows, it was one isolated incident with way too many variables.

Another Question:

Iknow Imbolc is coming up-is it on Feb.1st or 2nd? And when you do the ritual do they HAVE to rhyme? *im horrible at making good rhymes*

It may derpend on the year or path, but I celebrate on the second (or whenever around that time I'm free to do so).

And heavens no, they needn't rhyme. Remember, rituals are all about raising power. Power can be raised without rhymes oreven without words at all. I often find sometimes it's best not to write a ritual "script" at all, and just to talk naturally.

Oh, okay. I know that sometimes I get nervous and start stuttering and messing up alot. I' ll try it out though. I've been having a hard time with finding good info on the net about  what all the holidays mean and their origin. Do you perhaps know any websites that could give me good information? Oh, and that page you made on the forum about chi a while back; would you mind making a page like that on Wicca and the elements and stuff of that nature? I truly enjoyed reading it because the amount of information was very satifying and hope you will make a Wiccan version of it. Thank you.

Usually when a Sabbat is about to come around I post a page on it, with lore and correspondences and such - I suppose I should post the Imbolc one soon.

And I will write up a thread on the elements this afternoon.
