Merry meet, I am Kaitlin. I live in the USA. My community is nearly all non-wiccan. I hope to be accepted into the wiccan community. I know nearly nothing about the Wicca people. If you can please give me some spells and pointers. I also need some ideas of how to grow herbs because I live in an appartment. From, Kaitlin

Well, for growing herbs, I find that most are best grown in pots that you can keep in the window or on a balchony. However, I have trouble growing anything, so for all my herbal work I just drop by a spice shop or local grocery store.

As for spells... spells aren't something you just give away and can 'do'. Many wiccans do not use spells. The fact is, you need to know how to use magic before you can use spells - they are not the same. Magic is rituals, practicing meditating and visualizing, and knowing how to reach goals, spirituality, and much more. Spells are just like any other way to handle a problem - first, you need to have a problem to fix, then you need to know the best way to handle it. There are some simple spells that are good for beginners, but spells are not toys.

The best pointers I can give are the most simple. Get close to nature, and meditate. Figure out what the God and Goddess are telling you about life. Celebrate it. Try to respect and heal the earth, and worry about spells after you figure out the important things.
