Amy died a few days after my birthday, October the 14th, to what we think were lumps in her intestines. The vets first thought it was constapation but because the medication wasn't working we dropped her off to the vets for blood tests and perhaps an operation. It was the last time i saw her - though not to my knowledge at the time. They phoned back that night saying they were going to operate to investigate the problem. the following day whilst I was at school they discovered liquid on her lungs, once drained it only came back again and they couldn't operate on her in this condition. She was ill, very ill. They didn't even want to wait for my mother to get there (15 minutes drive) to put her to sleep, my mum got there in time though. But she couldn't hold her as she was attatched to a drip and (most likely) drugged to her eyeballs.
Closest thing I'll ever have to a sister too... | |
