I'm just wondering, as I have seen this be a popular topic on other forums...
Who would like for people to post picturesd of their altar & tools(if they choose, of course)? I realize that an altar is a very personal thing, but it might help some people who are not sure how to arrange their and would like to look at others. And they're always stunningly beautiful to see. If anyone is interested, post here or upload your own picture. I'll upload mine if there are any responses here.

Thats a great idea, i'll get some pics done tonight and get them posted. It'll be good for those newer to Wicca to be able to see examples of the variety of ways altars can be decorated, I know that sometimes people worry about doing it wrong, when really there is no wrong way, its a purely personal thing.

Wicca is in everything, we just need to open our eyes" ~~~~~~~~~max sig size~~~~~~~~~

Finally!
Here is a picture of my basic altar when not set up for anything in particular. It is purposely eastern based, as I like eastern spirituality quite a bit.

From left to right, the items on it are: a ceramic feather from my mother; a box from a friend depicting red dragons containing my pendulums and I-Ching coins; a heart shaped dish from my mom filled with a few crystals (I change these out now and then); a sandalwood fan from my sister; an incense burner from my grandmother; a gardenia scented orange candle for success, a glass set of birds on a heart as a gift from my grandfather; a bottle of holy water/moon water; a dish of sea salt also containing sea glass, seashells, some herbs, and rose petals; a jasmine candle for blessings; my tarot cards, with a necklace of amethyst around them; a pentagram made of woven straw and seashells; a decorative fan; a bowl of petrified wood; a glass elephant; another gardenia scented orange candle, this one for harmony; another jasmine candle for blessings; a large dish from my mom, depicting Japanese lanterns along the rim, filled with seashells and shell leis, either found on beaches or as a gift from my dad when in Tahiti; a fan from Japan depicting a dragon and a tiger; and finally another incense burner.
Phew. That never felt like a lot until now. In the drawer underneath I keep other supplies - oils, candles, incense, tarot cards, crystals, ect., ect.
And I also keep a little altar by my desk to keep me calm, motivated, and focus when doing work/homework:

Pretty basic: a specially anointed candle, some incense, a bed of amethyst, a few crystals and glass trinkets, a statue of Anubis and some herbal mixtures in the pouches (health and fulfillment of wishes).
I'd love to see other peoples’ too!
