Often when you use a candle (particularly tea lighst i've found) you end up with leftover wax, which most people throw away. Instead of doing that, get some cheap candle wicks and make it into new candles, or make wax models out of it. First you need to make it soft and moldable, often if you keep rolling it between your hands until its warm enough then start to almost knead it that will be enough, although you can also buy candle making equipment including proper molds and bowls to melt it right down in. Once the wax is soft enough you can shape it, wax dolls are often used in healing rituals, or you could shape it into a representation of a goddess or god, a plant or flower, make it into a little bowl, anything like that. I actually have a little goddess figure I made from a rose scented candle's remains, and a rose I made. If you are making a candle simply flatten the wax into a sheet of even thickness, then cut it into a square shape (save the cast offs for another time), cut the wick to the right length and place at one end of the sheet and roll it up inside, then carefully push on the edge that goes down the candles length until it molds into the main candle. Carefully trim the protruding wick down so its not to long (otherwise the flame will be to big).

That is a great idea Felicia. I definately have some candle wax around. I am thinking I could keep adding sheets around the candle until I arrive at the desired thickness of the candle. In addition it could result in varing scents if you use a variety of left over wax.

I recently picked up some clay to try and sculpt a statue but wax would work great too! :D
