We all suffer from religious intolerance at one time or another. Only through education can we help to teach people that Wiccans are not bad people. Until the day comes you must remember that there will be people who react badly to the path you walk. We live in an intolerant world.
Some feel that they should hide their religion in the shadows, to protect them and their coven. I disagree, to do this is to be ashamed of your religion, to bolster the opinion that you must be doing bad things to hide them away. I am, and always be, open about my religion, and as yet apart from a couple of abusive guestbook signings ( which I ignored and delelted ) and a couple of idiots at school I have had no problems.
However if you do have problems my advice is this: Tell a teacher if its at school, and report it to your family if it is or isn't. If its physical or a threat tell the police. On the net report it to the site you are using that it happens on. Keep any emails, text messages or copies of any other kind of abuse so you can show them as evidence.
